Description:
The MT-ZWJ-02 Automatic Aluminium Spacer Bending Machine is a core piece of equipment specifically designed for manufacturing aluminium spacer frames for insulating glass units. The machine adopts PLC control and servo drive technology, allowing a single bendable aluminium spacer to be automatically processed into a one-piece frame of various sizes and shapes. It completely replaces the traditional plug-in assembly method, fundamentally solving the problems of air leakage and water penetration at the corners of conventional insulating glass units.
During processing, the machine automatically completes the entire cycle-feeding, positioning, bending, welding, cutting-based on the dimensions entered by the operator. The four-magazine storage design allows multiple spacer sizes to be pre-loaded, eliminating the need to stop production for material changeovers during product switching. The continuous bending function for multiple shapes means rectangular, polygonal, and even arc-shaped aluminium frames can all be processed on the same machine. The equipment offers three key features: precise bending, stable operation, and easy operation, significantly improving both production efficiency and finished product quality for insulating glass aluminium frames.
Applications:
This equipment is widely used in the bending and forming of aluminium spacers within the insulating glass deep-processing industry, including:
• Building Doors & Windows: Producing aluminium spacer frames for insulating glass used in residential windows, office buildings, hotels, and other construction projects.
• Curtain Wall Engineering: The large-size aluminium frame bending function meets the requirements of curtain wall insulating glass for extra-large dimensions.
• LOW-E Insulating Glass Production: As dedicated supporting equipment for LOW-E insulating glass, the one-piece bent aluminium frame better protects the LOW-E coating and extends the service life of the insulating glass.
• System Doors & Windows Manufacturing: Suitable for high-precision, high-quality aluminium frame processing required by premium system window and door manufacturers.
• Specialty Glass Processing: Meets the high sealing requirements of special products such as argon-filled insulating glass and triple-pane double-cavity insulating glass.

Product Advantages:
• Adopts an advanced PLC control system with a user-friendly HMI touch screen, making operation simple and convenient. Operators only need to input processing parameters via the touch screen, and the machine automatically completes bending tasks, greatly reducing reliance on skilled technicians. The servo control system precisely manages the feeding mechanism, ensuring accurate and stable bending dimensions.
• Equipped with four groups of spacer size storage magazines, capable of storing four different spacer widths. Spacers of any width can be selected arbitrarily. When producing insulating glass units with different specifications, frequent material changes are eliminated, significantly reducing changeover time-especially suitable for small-batch, multi-variety flexible production.
• Supports continuous bending of different frame shapes, including triangles, rectangles, regular pentagons, regular hexagons, and arcs. Also features a large-size aluminium frame bending auxiliary function, meeting diverse processing requirements from standard doors/windows to large curtain wall frames-one machine, multiple applications, improving equipment utilisation.
• Equipped with an automatic spacer welding function, the machine automatically avoids the weld joint during bending and cutting. This design prevents the weld joint from interfering with bending, ensuring the overall strength and sealing performance of the aluminium frame, resulting in a more aesthetically pleasing and durable finished product.
• The bending lateral side adopts a split stainless steel shield, which facilitates daily cleaning and maintenance while enhancing operational safety. Stainless steel offers excellent corrosion resistance, maintaining stable performance even under prolonged exposure to lubricants and ambient humidity, significantly extending the machine’s service life.
• This equipment replaces the traditional four-corner plug-in assembly method, bending a single aluminium spacer into a one-piece frame. This greatly improves the sealing performance and service life of insulating glass. The one-piece bent frame eliminates corner gaps, solving quality issues such as air leakage and water penetration at the corners of traditional plug-in insulating glass units. With high bending accuracy and stable operation, the machine enables high-volume, efficient automated production, making it an ideal choice for manufacturing mid-to-high-end insulating glass, especially LOW-E insulating glass.
